The regional headquarters for Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific concentrates on improving overall services for principals and customers while simultaneously developing the overall synergy of Zuellig Pharma country offices. It is located in Hong Kong.

With business experience in Asia dating back over 100 years, Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific has the essential local knowledge to work efficiently and effectively under the many different market conditions within the region, while our sole focus on healthcare-related distribution sets our services apart from our multi-service competitors. The regional office oversees strategic planning and regional business development to ensure quality of service, implementation of the latest information technology systems tailored specifically for the needs of the healthcare industry, standardization of procedures across countries, and coordinated expansion.

This effective structure has enabled Zuellig Pharma to continuously extend its pan-Asia operations and become the leading distributor for the healthcare product industry in the region. The company now has operations in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Korea, Indonesia, India and Bangladesh.

In 2002, the three distinct business units that had evolved – manufacturing, sales & marketing and distribution – were aligned under one corporate umbrella Zuellig Pharma Asia Pacific. Under the holding company, Zuellig Pharma transitioned from a traditional family-run enterprise to a more independent, corporate-style structure.

In 2005, Zuellig Pharma transferred its sales and marketing operations (PharmaLink) to a new joint venture company, Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Holdings, in which Zuellig Pharma is an equal partner with Quintiles Transnational Corp and Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited.

In 2006, Pharma Industries was transferred to an associated partnership in order for Zuellig Pharma to focus all resources on healthcare distribution.
